Barn Fly, with video

Barn Fly MP3 (2:42)

Just so I’m not whistling Dixie, here’s my first take making a video. It’s hosted for free at archive.org.

You can watch here and now, or go watch at YouTube.

Big Day

April 17th, 2006

Enough happened today for me to call it a bigger day than most. I’m realizing the potential of working on Pocket full time; my duties include keeping up with humanity’s most involving global conversation. Today was the day that I saw (and wrote about) how important video and the so-called Internet TV is and will be.

So I registered for Vloggercon which is June 10th and bought my Amtrak tickets from Portland to Chicago for RailsConf. Plus I got a new phone that’s not so special but has a 1.3 MEGApixel cam and should work when I’m sitting here on my freakin couch in my blessed home. Maybe I’ll shoot some rad videos for my weird and so far fairly boring music so I can one day be like Noboto.

I hope the combined sounds of these elements reminds you of The Orb, one of the most influential groups for me.

405 Tonight

April 15th, 2006

After rotting in my garage for months, my dirtbike is finally gone! The song 405 Tonight is the exclusive first hand account of what actually happened to my old Suzuki.

Since You Came

March 15th, 2006

Although this is my first song of 2006, it was actually the first song I ever recorded.

I’ve been working on a cool new piano piece that goes G F C G7 before going ape shit in a Philip Glass way.

Everybody says they’re just too busy to do what they really want, so I won’t even say it. This year has been pretty crazy with girlfriend issues and work on a startup company called ThinkPocket. I’m way more productive than I’ve been in a long time, and also pretty stressed so if I find the time to record my musical outlets we’ll all be OK.

Yes I am alone.
But then again I always was.
As far back as I can tell.
I think maybe it's because
Because you were never really real
To begin with.
I just made you up
To hurt myself.

Bperry v0.1

This song has some potential, but this version was recorded a while back and the levels are jacked. Sorry.

Way too long

Nico suggests I prune it to 3:30 as an exercise.
